After two weeks of excitement, drama and suspense felt across the country the 2018 Australian Open has come to an end and we were thrilled to be a part of it, opening the women’s final of Simona Halep verse Caroline Wozniacki with a performance fit for champions.

As the crowd waited in anticipation for the showdown to begin our Melbourne Performing Choristers took to Rod Laver Arena court, surprising audience members and Channel 7 viewers with an enchanting rendition of ABBA’s ‘the Winner Takes it All’ alongside Natalie O’Donnell from the Mamma Mia cast.

It was a very special moment for all involved and a performance highlight for many of our girls. After a suspenseful 3 hour game Caroline Wozniacki was crowned champion, leaving the Australian Open with her first major trophy and the number 1 ranking!
