Non-Executive Board Member
Ann is a consultant and academic specialising in management and governance in the non-profit sector. She teaches graduate management courses at the University of Melbourne and Central Queensland University and is an Honorary Fellow in the School of Culture and Communications at the University of Melbourne. She specialises in arts management, strategic planning facilitation, communication and human resource management. She is the author of Australia’s only text book on cultural management “The A to Z of Arts Management”.
Ann was the Executive Director of Melbourne Theatre Company for 18 years and other work includes Station Manager of ABC Radio National and 6UVS-FM. She has an Honours degree in Economics and an MBA. Ann has been on many boards including superannuation, employer and industry associations, theatre, opera and dance companies. She is a JP, a Life Member of Live Performance Australia and on the Victorian Women’s Honour Roll. In 2017, Ann was awarded as a Member of the Order of Australia.
