On Saturday September 8, our Brisbane Performing choristers were the preshow entertainment when the Qantas Wallabies took on the South African Springboks at Suncorp Stadium. The choristers represented the Spirit of Australia as they performed on behalf of the Wallabies sponsor, Qantas. On Saturday August 5, our senior choristers in Sydney performed at the Opening Ceremony of the Wheelchair Rugby World Cup. The choristers entertained the international athletes throughout the ceremony with a selection of Australiana themed songs including My Island Home and I am Australian. They will be performing in the final round of the netball season where the Adelaide Thunderbirds will take on the NSW Swifts at Priceline Stadium. Fifty-six Choristers from Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney just arrived back home from a spectacular twelve show tour. The choristers practiced separately in their own states before coming together for two days to learn their choreography and add the final details to their repertoire.
