It’s the most wonderful time of the year – AGC returns to the 86th Adelaide Christmas Pageant!

The AGC has welcomed the beginning of carols season on November 10 this year, performing as part of the Adelaide Christmas Pageant. Now in its 86th year, the pageant is recognized as a heritage icon and is the second longest Christmas parade in the world. Our choristers have been performing in the pageant since 2010 and enjoy seeing the amazing production come together each year. 56 members of our touring choir have returned with many fantastic stories of a very successful three week tour of Europe and Hong Kong. On Saturday September 8, our Brisbane Performing choristers were the preshow entertainment when the Qantas Wallabies took on the South African Springboks at Suncorp Stadium. The choristers represented the Spirit of Australia as they performed on behalf of the Wallabies sponsor, Qantas. Choristers stun audiences at the Wheelchair Rugby World Cup

On Saturday August 5, our senior choristers in Sydney performed at the Opening Ceremony of the Wheelchair Rugby World Cup. The choristers entertained the international athletes throughout the ceremony with a selection of Australiana themed songs including My Island Home and I am Australian.
