Our choristers in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney had the honour of cheering on the Qantas Wallabies recently as they took on the Irish Rugby team in the Ireland Series.
Choristers from Canto, Camerata and Performing Choir wowed more than 100,000 spectators over the three matches which were held at Suncorp Stadium, AAMI Park and Allianz Stadium.
As the players prepared for the match, our choristers performed beautiful renditions of ‘I Still Call Australia Home’ and the Australian National Anthem on behalf of Qantas.
The choristers were very excited to perform at such a high profile sporting event. We wish the Wallabies the best of luck when they take on the New Zealand All Blacks in the Bledisloe Cup later this year.
