AGC Uniform and Online Shop
All uniform and merchandise items are available to purchase through the AGC Online Shop, which can be accessed via the AGC website. Please place your orders through our online shop by Saturday February 17 in order to receive them at your rehearsal venue in early March. Special Parts and Outstanding Potential Awards
Towards the end of term 1, Tutors will nominate a small selection of girls from their class to attend a state audition for a special part in the Winter Showcase Concert. Tutors are looking for girls who display the requisite skills for a special part and demonstrate general excellence. Special parts can include vocal solos in songs, drama or dance parts, or compering a part of the show. All girls who audition are also considered for an Outstanding Potential Award,…
Demonstration Classes
Parents of all choristers are invited to come along to a demonstration class with your daughter during Term 1 to watch a class in action. Demonstration classes will be held in late March. eNewsletter 2 will provide the date for your daughter’s level and venue.
AGC Website and App
We were delighted to recently launch a new mobile responsive AGC website. We encourage all choristers and parents to visit the Current Choristers area of our website for more information about being part of the Australian Girls Choir including Calendar – we have developed a Calendar that can be filtered by your state’s events and viewed in different formats (list, daily, weekly, monthly). Charity Partner – Girls from Oz
Girls from Oz (g-oz) has been the charity partner of the AGC since 2014. For those who may not already know, g-oz delivers performing arts, educational engagement programs to Indigenous girls and young women in remote regions of Australia. Touring with the AGC in 2018
We have been delighted by the level of interest in our touring program for 2018. We will be undertaking a two week National Tour in June/July to Canberra, Nowra, Newcastle, Sydney and the Blue Mountains. We will also be running a three week International Tour in September/October where we will visit Rome, Marostica, Venice, Vienna, Frankfurt and Hong Kong.
