We believe every child can learn to sing, and that the benefits of singing go far beyond the stage.
For 40 years, the Australian Girls Choir has been proud to play a role in the growth and development of girls across the country; providing high quality performing arts education and exceptional performance opportunities.

Last term, we dropped in on our Brisbane Bel Canto class for a behind-the-scenes look as part of our Class Spotlight Series! 🎵
Bel Canto is our most senior vocal group, made up of selected choristers from Performing Choir. With the Winter Showcase Concerts wrapped up, they were already back in action, diving into rehearsal and refining harmonies for an AGC in Concert piece.
As Term 3 kicks off in Queensland tomorrow, we’re excited to welcome our talented choristers back to class! ✨

What an outstanding result! 👏🏼
We’re thrilled to announce that the Voices for the Future @girlsfromoz Giving Circles Campaign has not only reached but surpassed its $100,000 goal – a milestone made possible in part by the incredible generosity of our AGC community.
Whether you donated, hosted a giving circle or spread the word, thank you! Your support provides 30 Girls from Oz participants from Bidyadanga, Halls Creek, Kowanyama and Lockhart River the opportunity to travel to Sydney later this year for a transformative week of learning, connection and creativity. ✨
The week will end with a truly special moment, performing alongside our AGC choristers at our Annual Concert. We can’t wait to welcome our g-oz sisters to the Sydney Opera House stage this November! 💚💗

Robyn Watts has finished up as Chair of the Australian School of Performing Arts (ASPA) Board. We are eternally grateful for all that Robyn has contributed to ASPA since she joined our inaugural Advisory Board back in 2008. It is very unusual to ask a Board member to continue for 17 years, such is the quality of Robyn’s contribution. Robyn’s rigorous questioning, generosity and encouragement have been appreciated by all who’ve encountered her. It’s a joy to witness how much Robyn loves Australian Girls Choir concerts, ASPA Ed holiday program performances, REDed dance competitions, and of course, @girlsfromoz
We have promised Robyn that she is a lifetime member of the ASPA family and have no doubt we’ll have her in our VIP rows at events long into the future.
Thank you Robyn, it has been a privilege to experience the passion and drive of an ‘external’ professional. All members of the ASPA leadership team have had our careers enriched as a result of working with you.
