On Sunday March 31, our Adelaide choristers had the honour of entertaining AFL fans at Adelaide Oval throughout the AFLW Grand Final.
Minutes before the first bounce, 53,034 spectators and players from the Adelaide Crows and Carlton Football Club, stood in silence as two Performing choristers sang the Australian National Anthem. The girls were joined by 38 other AGC choristers to perform at half time for an excited crowd who were about to win their first premiership on home soil. The audience danced and sang along to our uplifting and powerful rendition of ‘Celebration’ and the Aussie classic ‘You’re the Voice’.
It was an empowering opportunity for all of the girls involved and it was a privilege to share the ground with some of Australia’s best female athletes! Congratulations to the Adelaide Crows on their second premiership.
