We believe every child can learn to sing, and thatΒ the benefits of singing go far beyond the stage.
For 40 years, the Australian Girls Choir has been proud to play a role in the growth and development of girls across the country; providing high quality performingarts education and exceptional performance opportunities.
"It is such a wonderful organisation to be part of.Β The benefits to our daughter from belonging to the AGC will be with her long after she has left."
Kylie WeeksQLD
"It is a once in a life time opportunity to make wonderful friends and to build confidence while doing the things that my daughter loves to do - singing, dancing and performing"

"My daughter tells me that she gets butterflies in her stomach every Saturday morning when she walks into class because she is so excited!"
Kylie MacRaeVIC
"The AGC gives our daughter a reliable and constant institution in her life that will not waver - a place where she is appreciated and where she will learn and build confidence."
Maurie SpaccaventoSA
"Going to choir each week has been a place where our daughter's cares and worries can melt away. The other choristers are supportive, the classes are engaging and the performance opportunities have been spectacular."
Today we wish our charity partner @girlsfromoz a very happy birthday! π
g-oz has been supporting and advocating for the education, empowerment and success of girls and young women in remote Australia for 17 years. A big thank you to our ASPA and AGC families whoβve supported g-oz during this time.π
"When Girls from Oz Founders started shaping this, now 17 year old, organisation, we had no concept of just how many lives would be positively impacted by our dreams and ideas. We knew that we wanted to provide life changing opportunities to girls who couldnβt otherwise access high quality performing arts education, what we now celebrate is something much more nuanced and far reaching." β Nicole Muir AM, g-oz Chair and ASPA CEO

Our National Tour has made its second stop in the stunning outback town of Roma, Queensland! After a scenic bus ride from Hervey Bay, the girls kicked off their adventure with a magical twilight performance at @moorelands_bush_nursery singing βUnder the Milky Wayβ beneath the shimmering stars. What an unforgettable experience for our choristers!π
The excitement continued with a day trip to Mitchell City Hall, where temperatures hit a sweltering 36 degrees. Thankfully, the nearby pool and the Mineral Springs at the Great Artesian Spa offered a refreshing escape. βοΈ
A true highlight was our workshop and performance at St Johnβs School Roma, filled with laughter, singing, and new friendships. We were touched by this lovely message from Carmel Treasure, a teacher at St Johnβs:
"Our St John`s Primary School Choir had a WONDERFUL workshop with the very talented, very friendly girls at the AGC. Thank you for the generous way you`ve shared your time and talents with us. An exceptional concert - beautiful singing and inspired movements. I loved your visit in 2012 - thanks for coming again in 2024."
After a wonderful two weeks travelling around France and Switzerland our International Tour group arrived in Singapore! πΈπ¬ This final stop marked the first AGC chorister connection with our international sisters from the Australian International Girls Choir (AIGC) @ispa_singapore and was made all the more special with the attendance of our Founder, Judith Curphey OAM, CEO Nicole Muir AM, and Artistic Director Vicki King.
The girls experienced the joy of exchanging songs and musical games with our AIGC sisters through a fun workshop, before taking the stage together for the final song βJust Singβ at our performance at Esplanade Theatres on the Bay β what an incredible highlight π€
Another standout moment was visiting and performing at the Australian High Commission, where we had the privilege of meeting Deputy High Commissioner Emily Follett and listening to an inspiring panel discussion led by Nicole on women in leadership.
Rounding out the trip the girls enjoyed sightseeing around Singapore and trying some delicious food - soaking up the last moments with their new friends before they all head back to their Australian capital cities. Weβre very proud of the girls and our team for representing the AGC with pride overseas. We look forward to sharing some more performance highlights with you over the coming weeks. β¨
Weβre thrilled to share that our National Tour Group was featured on 7 News Wide Bay, highlighting their vibrant community performance at City Park in Hervey Bay! π€ A big shoutout to our amazing choristers for spreading their love of music and forging connections with local communities across Australia.ππ
