The Australian International Girls Choir is coming to Singapore in June 2024!
ASPA is delighted to be expanding our operations as we launch in Singapore as the International School of Performing Arts (ISPA) including the Australian International Girls Choir (AIGC) in June 2024!
With 40 years of experience providing high quality music and performing arts education to girls in Australia, we’re thrilled to be spreading our wings in Singapore. The AIGC will initially offer classes for girls of all nationalities aged 5 – 12 at two rehearsal locations in Singapore – one of which is the Australian International School.
We’ve seen first-hand the important role the performing arts plays in the growth of young girls, including building their confidence, self-esteem, resilience, public speaking and presentation skills. Girls blossom musically and socially as members of our community, all while having fun and making friends over a shared love of singing. The success model of the AGC combined with the strong ties between Australia and Singapore lead us to believe that we can provide more performing arts opportunities to girls from a range of cultural backgrounds in Singapore, and in coming years, we hope to offer cultural exchange opportunities between the AGC and AIGC.
We look forward to welcoming girls into the AIGC community in 2024 and launching our first international chapter in Singapore!
