We believe every child can learn to sing, and that the benefits of singing go far beyond the stage.
For 40 years, the Australian Girls Choir has been proud to play a role in the growth and development of girls across the country; providing high quality performing arts education and exceptional performance opportunities.

Dame Quentin Bryce AD CVO is undoubtedly one of Australia’s most extraordinary women, and we’ve had the immense privilege of knowing her for 22 years. From the moment she attended our Brisbane Annual Concert in 2003, it was clear that we shared many core values. Her belief in the power of the performing arts and her genuine interest in the development and mission of our charity partner, @girlsfromoz created a meaningful connection that has only grown stronger. 💚
Quentin has served as Patron of Girls from Oz from 2014, and this year she will step down from her official role. During this time she has supported g-oz in countless ways —from hosting participants for a sleepover at Admiralty House, to visiting our programs in remote communities, to attending AGC concerts featuring g-oz performers. Her commitment has made a lasting difference.
Christmas is coming quickly and we couldn’t recommend this gift more highly - `Quentin Bryce: The Authorised Biography by Juliet Rieden`. The book is filled with highlights and challenges from Dame Quentin’s remarkable life; g-oz is mentioned amongst inspiring stories from her “trailblazing career dedicated to reform and serving community.”
We are grateful to Quentin for everything that she’s done for g-oz and believe that this book will inspire others to consider how we might all be changemakers. ⭐
