We believe every child can learn to sing, and that the benefits of singing go far beyond the stage.
For 40 years, the Australian Girls Choir has been proud to play a role in the growth and development of girls across the country; providing high quality performing arts education and exceptional performance opportunities.

The AGC is a nurturing environment that helps girls build their confidence, social skills, presentation skills and public speaking abilities. Therefore it is not a prerequisite or expectation that your daughter is naturally a confident performer – leave that to us! 💕
We provide all choristers with at least two stage performance opportunities annually, offering them opportunities to refine their skills and showcase their talents. Our mid-year and end-of-year concerts give choristers a milestone to work towards while allowing them the time to hone and practice their skills so they feel confident on stage. 🎤

Today the @girlsfromoz Reverse Travel Program commences. Alongside g-oz`s Travel Program where g-oz participants travel from community to rehearse and ultimately perform with the AGC at our end-of-year Annual Concert, g-oz also holds a yearly Reverse Travel Program where AGC choristers travel to community to share our passion for the performing arts. 💚
During this week-long program, twelve AGC choristers will travel to Lockhart River on Queensland’s Cape York Peninsula where they will engage with their Lockhart host sisters in a two-way exchange that will enhance an understanding of each other’s respective culture and experiences. We can’t wait to share more about the girls’ experiences over the coming weeks. ✨
